Rembang, December 20th, 2024 – In order to commemorate the State Defense Day in 2024, PT Semen Gresik held a ceremony with hundreds of employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates. The ceremony took place in the parking area of Omah SG, Rembang Factory, (19/12).

With the theme “Gelorakan Bela Negara untuk Indonesia Maju”, this ceremony aims to instill a spirit of love for the country and increase awareness of the importance of an active role in maintaining the sovereignty and progress of the nation.

Acting as the master of ceremonies, the head of the security unit of PT Semen Gresik, Arris Syamsu delivered the official mandate of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, namely the importance of cooperation and active contribution from all elements of society. The President emphasized that defending the country is not only the responsibility of the military, but also the shared responsibility of all Indonesian people.

“Mutual cooperation is the key to our success in maintaining national sovereignty and building a more advanced future for Indonesia. The active role of every individual, including within the scope of companies such as PT Semen Gresik, is very strategic,” according to the content of President Prabowo Subianto's mandate.

Similarly, Senior Manager of Communication & CSR of PT Semen Gresik, Sulistyono, emphasized that the spirit of state defense can be realized through hard work, innovation, and real contributions in supporting the sustainability of the company.

“As a citizen, even the smallest contribution to the company, community, and environment is a real form of state defense,” he explained.

With a spirit inspired by the theme of this year's commemoration, PT Semen Gresik continues to be committed to actively contributing to driving the nation's progress through synergy, and innovation, in a sustainable manner.

“Hopefully this spirit can be an inspiration for all elements in the company to jointly build a sovereign, just and prosperous Indonesia,” he concluded.
